Revered Sadhananda Mahasthavira, a Buddhist thinker and philosopher, came to Rangamati in 1987 to live permanently in Banabhante. This monastery was built to accommodate Banabhanta and his disciples. This monastery, which is especially important for Buddhists, has now become an international Buddhist pilgrimage site. Not only for the Buddhists, but also for all the nature lovers, beauty lovers and enlightened people of the world. The monastery has a picturesque worship monastery, a country house built with modern architectural designs, a residential house and rest house in Banabhanta, a residential building for monks and laborers, a large guest house, a chakramanghar, a কে seamaghar (ghanghar), a ceremonial stage, a multi-storied palace, Banabhante and Bhikkhusangha's restaurant, own library and press.
