 War Cemetery:

The War Cemetery in Mainamati Cantonment is the graveyard of soldiers killed during the Second World War. There are 637 graves of soldiers of different countries killed during the Second World War from 1939-1945.

At the entrance of the mausoleum is an archway, on the inner wall of which the history of the mausoleum is inscribed in both English and Bengali. There is a wide path to enter inside with rows of graves on either side. One flower tree in the middle of every two graves. There is an exceptional tomb in front of the cemetery where a place is surrounded by 23 tombs. Every year in November, an annual prayer meeting is held here with the participation of religious leaders of all religions.
